وصف البرنامج

This course enables theparticipants to learn about the best practices for implementing and managing aprocess improvement based on Six Sigma quantitative methods as specified in ISO13053-1:2011, as well as ISO 13053-2:2011 (Quantitativemethods in process improvement – Six Sigma – Part 2: Tools and techniques). Theparticipant will learn the different components of a Six Sigma method,including the DMAIC methodology, Six Sigma measures, personnel and their roles,training requirements, project prioritization and selection.

Day 1: Introduction to Six Sigma quantitative methods in process improvement as required by ISO 13053
•    Introduction to the ISO 13053 standard and it’s relation to ISO 9001
•    Introduction to quantitative methods in process improvement
•    Fundamental principles of quantitative methods in process improvement
•    General requirements: presentation of the clauses 4 to 14 of ISO 13053
Day 2: Implementing requirements from ISO 13053:2011 and Certification Exam
•    Implementation phases of the ISO 13053 framework
•    The DMAIC methodology
•    Conducting an ISO 13053 certification audit
•    Certification Exam
Prerequisites
None
Educational approach
•    This training is based on both theory and practice:
o    Sessions of lectures illustrated with examples based on real cases
o    Review exercises to assist the exam preparation
o    Practice test similar to the certification exam
•    Benefit from the practical exercises, the number of training participants is limited
Exam
•    The “Certified ISO 13053 Foundation” exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:
o    Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of Six Sigma quantitative methods in process improvement
o    Domain 2: Quantitative methods in process improvement – Six Sigma
•    The “Certified ISO 13053 Foundation” exam is available in different languages (the complete list of languages can be found in the examination application form)
•    Duration: 1 hour

Certification
•    A certificate of Certified ISO 13053 Foundation will be issued to participants who successfully passed the exam and comply with all the other requirements related to this credential
•    For more information about ISO 13053 certifications and PECB certification process, refer to PECB section on ISO 13053 Foundation Certification
General Information
•    Exam and certification fees are included in the training price
•    A student manual containing over 200 pages of information and practical examples will be distributed to participants
•    A participation certificate of 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) will be issued to participants
•    In case of failure of the exam, participants are allowed to retake the exam for free under certain conditions
